Thought these were a little too wide with the fog lights and the second one too skinny. Would try for something in between these two. The second one would look better with less gap and wider stripes. Here's a few files with some examples I've been looking at.

Second one isn't bad, maybe adding an 1" / 1 1/2" or so on each side of the stripe so that the fog lights stay centered.
Are you still thinking about painting the hood vents black?

Oh yeah I've seen them in both the body color and in black. I always like the black vents. Idealy the racing stripes at the right width will just clear the edges of the vents. All this is subject to change once I get the grille in and then talk to a body shop about painting the hood and stripng it and the rest of the car. We'll see how everything lines up. All the pics of the hood on trufibers site don't really depict what I'm thinking. Kind of have to look at several different cars and pull all the ideas into my own vision. Which is good b/c mine will be unique.

Ordered the hood tonight and other associated parts. Still working on which stripes I'm going to want on it. Have decided to leave heat extraction louvers same color as hood and put racing stripes just inside edge of louvers. Will decide on actual width and gap once hood is installed and tape off stripes on it

Hood is arriving this week! Won't see bodyshop for a few more though! Will give me more time to decide on paint.
