    I already have an OBD-1 reader anyway

    Tool has gotten a lot of use. Not by my car...but friend and family. Once word got out I had it, I was reading and clearing codes for everyone. I keep it in my car now.

    I like how it displays the readiness monitors live. So after a reset you can drive with it hooked up, see when the monitors are ready and then hit up inspection before any codes trip the light again. :)

    I mean it does help with fixing the car too, but you would be surprised how many gas caps trip the light and don't clear.
