Well after dragging my feet for two years I finally got going on fuel system rev 2.

History: Two years ago after putting on the blower and having Pete tune it
we found the single 255lph fuel pump running 100% duty cycle@6000 rpm.
so we set a soft rev limiter in the tune for 6200 rpm. I didn't want to go
the BAP route because I knew there were restrictions in the factory fuel lines.
I know that the pump I have is good for over 500 rwhp just had to find the
will to get under the car and replace everything.

New system is all -8an line with a 10 micron Aeromotive filter that only has a 1/2psi
pressure loss. Luckily the FORE fuel rails are already on the motor.

Goal is to have Pete retune and give me back ALL my revs!

Step 1 tear out old lines and fuel filter (top) replace with -8an line and fittings
these are the tank to filter and filter to 1/4 inch hard line that run all the way
    to behind passenger shock tower.

New filter setup mounted on highly modified factory bracket. Yes I cut part of the spare tire
well out for fuel hat access. No more dropping the tank every time I need to get to the pumps.
I have an excellent sheet metal guy that is going to make a cover that fits the well and screws in.
Note rubber capped factory 1/4" line.....

    Photos of line routing.....

This is the largest contributor to my problem... 3/16 inch outlet right after the factory check
    valve out it goes!

Motor shot while hood is out to paint, enjoy! No smart-Alec "its so dirty" comments either

    Now to call Pete.......

and he arises from the dead!!!!!

it's amazing how small the factory stuff is when you do the comparison right.

looks like a good set up, can't wait to see how you do after the tune.

    Looks good Tom..

    Two things:
*I see you have on your valve cover a Metco breather in place of your oil cap. Has that ever leaked out on you?

*There was a rumor circulating that you were looking to sell your car. It appears that it was just that, only a rumor.

Hopefully will see you around this summer. I love when it when your car rolls into any cruise night or event. It sounds Badass for sure with your Procharger.

Yeah I know what you mean, I've been putting this job off for two years and after swimming around under the

    Hi Kev,
Breather has never leaked, probably because i don,t allow boost pressure back into the valve covers.

Rumor about selling is true, started it myself last year. I have a love hate relationship with this car..

I will be looking forward to seeing you guys at some of the cruise nites this year!!!!
