That's why all the Zaino Zombies keep constantly adding coats to it. Walk away, slowly walk away from the light!!

it's fairly common to top various high-tech products with a coat of pure carnuba to enhance the wet look. All one needs to do is look at some DETAILING forums like autogeek,.com, or autopia-carcare.com. (Dennis, manufacturer websites won't tell you to use a competing product for obvious reasons.)

Basically there's no "wrong" answers to what products you use -- if it enhances the look of YOUR car, then do it.
I often use Klasse -- which, like Zaino is a high-tech chemical cleaner/protectant, and I always top it with P21S pure carnuba for the deep wet look.
You can use pure carnuba to top nearly anything -- just don't use a cleaner wax like Mothers Gold, or it will take off the layer you just applied!

As usual, your mileage may vary.....

The deal with Zaino is that you have to continuously stack the layers to get the deeper and deeper look. You can't go Zaino-Carnauba-Zaino again.
You'll have to constantly strip the wax to start a new foundation of Zaino.
I've been following their products for almost 15 years, and there are 40 miles of threads on Corvette forums, BMW M3/M5 forums, and pretty much any exotic forum that you can find.
Zaino is a Show Car polish and sealant product meant for vehicles that are...
    1. Kept indoors
    2. Covered at all times to protect from dust and environmental contaminants
    3. Religiously reapplied with more Zaino

On my COBRA that does 200 miles per year, I'll put in that kind of effort.
For my GT that gets hit by a shi*storm of bugs, dust etc- MOTHER'S Sealer and Glaze (left on vehicle after application) and Mother's Pure Carnauba wax with no cleaners.
Wax right over the sealer and glaze once it's sat for a bit to work the glaze into the swirls you create removing the wax.
It might be overkill but I usually switch applicators and microfibers 2-3 times each during the process to avoid dragging the used product that you took off back all over the car.

This is 100% correct, thank you Jim

Ed, you are correct about not layering Zaino on top of carnuba. However, most carnuba's only last 2 - 3 weeks anyways so it's a moot point. There are 50 miles of threads on the auto detailing forums backing this up as well.

At the end of the day, you do what works for your paint. the whole process is subjective, if you think it looks good, then go for it.

For me, there is a noticable difference in color when I top my Zaino applications off with a high end carnuba like Pinnacle and that's just a fact.

on a garaged car Carnauba will last months.
The first step in Zaino is stripping off all the old waxes and greasy products, so why would you stack more NON-COMPATIBLE product on top of it
