Kevin,
Seeing that you're part of the NH Mustang Club we require barriers for your protection and patrons. I see no reason for you to be there every day, trust me it does make for a long weekend.
Friday night: I see no reason for you being there unless you like hanging with friends.
Saturday: The biggest day and you should plan to spend atleast 8+ hours.
Sunday: No need to be there all day but 4-6 hours is the norm.
If you're entered in the car show then the best advice I'll give you is to READ THE RULES FOR SHOWING.
Tips for showing:
*Car must be open at all times. Hood, trunk and 1 door cracked open or 1/4 open all day and night. Judges are judging when the venue closes for the evening. If its not open how can I judge?
* Car must be clean: Besides the obvious, wheel-wells, brake calipers, is the paint rough (clay bar is a street car's best friend or have it professional buffed) no junk in the interior or trunk like cleaning products.
* Use matte finish interior cleaner, it doesn't attract dust.
* This is a custom car show: We score high for the following: Blink (chrome, powdercoat, painted pieces), custom paint with chips beats a brand new stk paint job from the factory, degree of difficulty on your mods, overall appearance and is the car complete (Example: front seats differ from rear seats is not complete).
* Don't worry if you're car is a driver, 99.9% of the cars you're being judged against are drivers (street driven).
* Club displays: Be different. Mustang clubs DO NOT have to do a Mustang theme, be creative. Club members should dress alike with club name on your shirts or jackets. Signage or banner with club name on it.
* And the Judges like yellow cars, they just look cooler.

Thanks for the tips Michael. I'm looking forward to a great time hanging out with fellow club members and meeting new people.
I hope I get a chance to meet alot of the SmokinStangs community as well. It will be nice to put faces to the names of people from the forum.
On a side note: If you have trouble falling asleep, Just hook up with Dennis O'Shea and he will talk non stop about the color black and will bore you to death. You will have no choice but to fall asleep. Maybe even standing up in front of him. :)

Boys Boys can we just all get alongI am hoping that Kevin car does well
He deserves it he has taken so much flack and we have all beat him down About the color of his car
We all know how he labor's to keep it at a high standard that we all expect
But try as he may it still just The Hudson Hornet and all the primping isn't going to make a difference
So lets all try as hard as it is to wish him well
Having Mr Plummer helping him out he may have a chance
God's knows if he should happen to win we will never hear the end of it from the two of them
I will end now and leave you with these words of great wisdom "LONG LIVE THE BLACK"
