drilling holes into the body is just not the type of modification I am willing to do. I had a hard enough time with the previous owner installing red line hood lifts......
I understand it's in a location no one would ever see nor does it affect performance of the car.
I dunno, im a purist at heart. I personally don't like to make any changes that can't be undone or put back to stock........and putting holes in the body of the car is top of the list.
with so many highly modified 03/04 cobras out there, i take pride in the fact mine still looks mostly like it did when it left the factory. Just a personal preference thing

Yeah, I can understand that, sort of. I felt that way for a lot of years, so I ended up with a basement full of stock parts I took off and saved in case someone wanted to put it back to stock. After a while, there was so much room taken up with so many parts, I took a good look at what I have down there, then I realized no one would be likely to ever take the time and effort to put all of that stuff back on, so I gave up the idea and began getting rid of the parts. I still have a bunch of stuff, but a lot of it is gone now. I still try to keep mine a "sleeper", but I've given up on the idea of it ever going back to stock. My car is a keeper so I decided to just do what makes me happy. If the car survives until I can't drive it any more, the next owner will just have to deal with it for what it is.
