I'm new to this forum and glad it is based in Good Old New England. I plan on spending some time here because I've been a Ford fan pretty much since I could walk! Fords have been in the family for at least 75 years starting with my Dad and now my siblings and I. I'm 64 yrs old and have own 28 (mostly all new) Ford products since the age of 15. I was a avid touring bike fan until I sold my Yamaha RSV this year because of arthritis setting in. But to offset the pain of selling my ride, I bought a used 2000 Mustang GT vert last January and I'm pretty glad I did...My wife loves it when we can bring the top up when it rains!! Anyhow...glad to be here and we'll see you around, can't wait for that ride-in you all have in September.
HAH! You and I would have both been in high school at the same time for a couple of years! I also have a "topless", as the original owner from 94. Good to have you here!

Originally from northern Maine, graduated in 65 and moved to CT right after HS. My trade has been really good for me all these years and is why I refuse to retire right now but I plan on "slowing down" and try to enjoy my GT the way it was meant to be. Before long I plan on getting a newer version 5.0 convertible....what a sweet ride those are!!

Welcome from another northern New Englander transplanted to Connecticut. I came here in 1975 and still have the '72 Mustang that my father bought new in New Hampshire. And don't apologize for your age or buying a Mustang - two years ago my then 89-year old aunt bought a Mustang convertible. 'Way to go, Auntie!
Do you ever go to cruise night on Mondays at Mark's in East Granby?
The wife and I have been at Mark's a few times but never with the Mustang...we'll be there this year. And Laconia is a definate!!
