Finally have my new brake booster & master cylinder all set up and installed. Just have to tighten the booster bolts inside and that's that until it comes back out so the engine bay paint can be touched up. Anyway, I think it looks great. Pardon the dust!

The interior is mostly back together. Everything except the center console, kick panels, and cluster cover. I've got some vacuum hoses to mess with, going to try to hide them differently (as seen in the photos above) and once done I'll make sure the car runs and all the electronics work. Once that's confirmed I'll button up the interior. God help me if I have to take the dash apart again to re-fix some of the wiring harnesses that I hid in there...

Thanks! It doesn't look like I'll be up that way for the event. If I were still in the Northeast I would have it on the calendar each year for sure. My parents just moved to SC so my visits back home will be few and far between, though I at least have an excuse to get down there for part of Mustang Week now.

Going to the paint shop tomorrow. I replaced the old, dirty vacuum lines you see in the pics above today, and ran it for a few minutes. Seems fine but who knows what it'll do when I actually drive it. We'll see... Anyway, once it's in for paint I'll be over there soon enough to take off the top end, blower, MC/booster, etc. in preparation for the engine bay repaint. The hood/front bumper will be worked on first, then the rest of the body, engine bay will be last. There is some more "tenderizing" that needs to be done on the driver's side strut tower to allow more clearance for the new MC. I have it in there with about a hair's worth of space between it and the tower but they'll massage and smooth it out for me right.

The car's really getting worked over now. Here's a rundown of what's being done:

    - re-align hood/front bumper (done)
    - re-shape a warped ground effect (done - it was like this since I bought the car in 2000, and they were able to bring it back to looking normal!)
    - repaint front bumper
    - paint touchup on hood, rear bumper
    - repaint wing/underside of decklid
    - repaint or touchup body panels as needed based on the amount of scratches/dings/chips, etc. The paint job on the car is 12 years old now, and it did have 1.5 years worth of daily driving before it became a dedicated toy, so it's got some wear around it.
    - paint door jambs/trunk channel
    - redo some of the body work in, and repaint, the engine bay (top end is currently pulled off to allow for access to do all of this. I'd prefer to pull the whole thing but I can only do so much at once)

I think that's it for their duties. I have some other tasks to handle on my own in the engine bay, namely putting it all back together, moving my hidden vacuum tree from the fenderwell to behind the intake (I have 3 hoses going back into the bay and only one that feeds from the fenderwell - makes no sense so I want to reverse it for less clutter). Depending on its expected time at the shop I'll also pull the lower intake so I can lay the new powder on it, and hopefully do the water pump/lower radiator hose (chrome one to replace the stocker) too. Speaking of that, here's the color on my throttle cable bracket. The bolts that will be used are polished and look great against the red powder, though no one will ever be able to notice it. The PS reservoir and plastic clip cover for the wiper motor will be painted to match. I chose to do the throttle bracket because I'll also be putting on a chrome set of heater core tubes, and since they're so close in proximity they will help each other stand out.

Sometime this week I hope to get to the store that sells chrome bolts and dump a small box of old uglies on the counter so I can get some nice pretty ones. If I can only find the time!

Looks great, Ozz! Looks so great I would not want to touch those bolt heads with a wrench or socket driver!

I'll have to retire before I'll have the time to do my own car anything like you're doing - and then I won't be able to afford to!

Thanks. The polished bolts look even better and the powder clear won't rub anyway
