    Finally.......800+RWHP

SmokinStangs - Mustang Forum! The home of the SmokinStangs Laconia - Mustang Rally
Went back to the dyno looking to reach my goal of 800+rwhp SAE and we did it (twice). I'm posting my engine combo for those of you who don't know the combo.

    DART Sportsman 331
    TFS 185CNC heads

    Recap of all Correction factors
839.22 RWHP and 770.32 RWTQ SAE
866.03 RWHP and 794.80 RWTQ STD
884.38 RWHP and 811.64 RWTQ UNCORRECTED

On the shakedown pass we made 801 rwhp before we set it on kill.

Moving forward, I have accomplished my goal of 800rwhp SAE with shorty headers and I'm finished chasing dyno numbers. In the upcoming weeks, I will be replacing both my head studs and valve springs. They are 5 years old and have alot of hard miles on them and I need to invest into a new fuel pump.

Someone mentioned that my car looks to clean and its probably never driven. This is a street driven Mustang with all its amenities and close to 200k miles on the frame. This car is not a trailer queen or some weekend warrior. It gets driven all year long and I'm proud of that and it does it on pump gas and a Water/Methanol Injection System from Snow Performance.

The car has been to hell and back and I'm very happy with they way it turned out. (http://forums.corral.net/forums/94-9...-friendly.html

My D1 is being sent back to ProCharger and I knew something was up when boost levels fell 5+psi. http://forums.corral.net/forums/supe...-blows-up.html

Here's 2+ mins you'll never get back, thanks for watching and I appreciate everyone who supported me along the way.....Thank you very much.

Very impressive....you have been at it a long time and know what you are doing for sure. Best part is the thing sounds Nasty and Mean, but it looks Tame..!!!

Do you do your own tuning or leave that up to Dez?

I leave the tuning to Mike Dez, he is far more knowledgeable in that area than I am. I do have a say in how much or how aggressive I want/need to be and Mike taps the keys.
