It's time for another weekly update from DMC Racing.
Don Burton's car is complete and running. However, Don decided that instead of taking a freshly-rebuilt car to MIR this weekend and testing with a virtually-unknown combination, it made more sense for him hold off and get a fresh start for 2012 - we'll be performing some other upgrades while the car is here.
It’s back down on all four tires and looking wicked!
There’s a brand-new ProCharger monster intercooler lurking in there somewhere.
Nothing here at DMC Racing happens by accident – the charge pipes were designed with the blowoff valves in a position to just clear the nose once it’s on the car.
Custom fuel cell, anyone? This one took Dennis a couple of hours to whip up, and fits right into the contours of the new framerails. It also incorporates a puke tank into the back side.
A view of the completed interior with the new dual 3.5" charge pipes and 5" discharge pipe.
Just some camera fun…
We’re also working on Andrew DeMarco’s NMRA Super Street Outlaw car over the winter, performing general maintenance and freshening up a few things.
Tim Meagher’s x275 car is now complete and ready to roll. Timmy’s planning on hitting a number of x275 events next season with this former NMCA championship-winning car.
And we’re just getting started on a project for local racer Danny Reis. Danny competes in x275 here at New England Dragway and just recently sold off his old chassis for this one. We’ll be doing a 25.5 upgrade and a lot of other work while it’s here.
Dan and Scotty have also made some good progress on Bill Robaey's x275 car. For those who don't remember, Bill brought the car here for a 25.5 chassis update, and after inspecting what we had to work with, Bill made the decision to cut everything out and start fresh with a complete DMC 25.5.
In the bottom right corner you can see some of the offending material Dan spent the morning removing from the car - now it's time to start fresh!
That's all for this week, we'll be back next week with some fresh pics for you to check out!

Foxes abound!! Alot to look at in these pics. I had to look at them a couple of times to really take in the intricate & painstaking work that was applied.
Don Burton's car is def one hell of a creation.
PS: Funny how you say that Dennis just "whipped up" the custom Fuel Cell.....as I can only fab something like that up in my dreams. Gives me something to aspire to....
