Laps at the track Video !

Amazing time at the track on Saturday after the Show & Shine event over at Weirs Beach !

Sounds like this event was the one of the big highlights of the weekend for most of those who opted to do it !! KUDO's to those that made it happen!! I hear that the track also videos a lot of the Laps, cant wait to see it posted somewhere on their Website, haven't been able to find as of yet, if anyone else has videos of the Laps please Post them !! I would love to see them..

Here is my first 2 laps, My co-pilot and awesome GF took the video.. After 2 laps she wanted to experience the full effect so the video was stopped... The video was taken from my iphone so the quality isn't the best and please excuse the commentary and the radio in the background!! Ironically I had the NASCAR race live on the Radio !! To the gentleman in the White car in front of the group please dont take offense to my commentary, I just wanted to hit it a little harder, this will just make that much better next year now that I have a few practice laps on the track !! Regardless, I did hit 105-107MPH on the Front stretch and it was just an amazing experience overall...!... Cant wait for next year..!!

Barry, did you happen to notcie how far ahead you were of the car behind you? My son thought we were going to get lapped by you guys.
Pretty sure we didnt even hit 75 on the front stretch.

Hey Stan,

I did, I think it was close to 1/4 to 1/2 a lap a head...

After talking with Mark afterwards , I think they are going to make some adjustments next year so this doesn't happen ... maybe by class , blower vs. Non blower and then I am still not sure if that will totally solve this. Not sure how else they can do it unless they are able to do a practice lap and use use the times to set the field.. almost like qualifying for a race so to speak !!

Either that or use a flag man wave them the Black Flag to have them pull to the inside groove so you can pass !! I think that might work, just have to do a quick "Drivers Meeting" prior to the group of 10 going on the track!

As frustrating as I may have felt at times it was still an experience of a life time for me and I can only hope to do it again next year !!

+1..........I was two cars in front of you and really wanted to go but I didn't know if it would have been cool to pass. Oh well.......next year!!
The white car was a GT500. I mean no offense either. Just had an itchy accelerator pedal foot.

I must agree that something needs to be done for the pnes that don't want to push it either have them at the end or out together. I was the last in our group right in front of the rear pace car so I couldn't slow up & then push it as there was a green 05 that must need new brakes as they were on them all the way around. I did reset my GPS and hit 81.5MPH for the top speed. it was sooo frustrating being behind a slow driver but i know they were out to enjoy the ride around the track as well, but just not when i am out there!!

All in All it was a lot of fun
