I was recently in need of some new keys for a SN95 Mustang - Trunk & Door key (I have the ignition key), and don't have the original to have a set cut.

So I went to my local Ford dealership to get some. They advised me that they only have keys available for cars going back Ten (10) years only. The did state that if you know who the original seller dealer was...you may be able to obtain them threw them.

Apparently...Ford purges the key codes and keeps them active for only 10 model years, as per the Ford dealer parts department.

Alt option: To call an automotive locksmith for the new key.

Figured I might save someone a trip here, by passing along the info.
