Gas Prices - Sneaking and Creeping Up....again!!

SmokinStangs - Mustang Forum! The home of the SmokinStangs Laconia - Mustang Rally
Gasoline prices are creeping up, and it feels a bit sneaky to me. They are slowly SNEAKING up the gas prices on us.

As of today up .08 cents just over the past Two (2) weeks............and up over .40 cents from a year ago!?!?!?!?

Wallets will be feeling a bit lighter after fueling up at the gas station.
I'll be watching to see where this leads..........

I was noticing the same thing this week Bob. It's been a while since I paid over $3, although I did find a couple places that are still $2.99. It's a little ridiculous, I really see no reason that it should be going up. It's a good thing that my new job is only 6 and 12 miles from my house. I'm only gassing up about once every two weeks now.

it's a freakin joke.....no reason for the spike either. Pisses me of beyond all belief when this happens because there is no good economic reason for the spike either.

It sucks for me cuz my car requires premium fuel. I think i paid $3.31 the other day

$20 lasts me 2 days of driving...i easily blow through $150 week on gas.

The irony is my 03 GT with a V8 got better fuel economy and could run on 87 octane. My V6 gets less economy and requires 91+ :(

As an owner of all 8-cylinder vehicles in our household (no Hummers though)..........I feel as though "It's shame on me."

Gasoline......is truly becoming more & more of a primary, true cost, as a whole.......as there use to be a day that it was more of an incidental cost.

Whats driving this is those greedy bastards on wall street who are driving the price of crude oil once crude hits eighty six to eighty nine a barrel it equates to three dollar a gallon gas .It also drives home heating oil and propane so as the market grows so does the price of crude .There's an old saying the Rich get Richer and the Poor get Poorer

    Yeah that's about it.
I don't pay much attention because I only have to use about a gallon or 2 a day.
The rest is all "unnecessary trips".

It's been hiking right up there lately. It's not so bad in the 'scort though. Never takes over 10 gallons to fill it up and it lasts all week.

Out of three cars, my 94 GT gets the best MPG's
My lifted Jeep with 33's is worse than the COBRA with 4.30's

Can't wait to go back to AutoPaint RI soon and get my Fiesta or Mazda 2
I'll spend the same amount on gas per week but travel 3x farther each way.
