I am just throwing this out there....but my initial reaction would say turbo is less abusive. My train of thought is parasitic loss.....

Neither....if the setup is done right and tuned properly. "abuse" is a relative term....if I apply boost to my built motor in modest amounts, it is not causing anything to wear quickly. However, when I turn up the wick and max it out, well then I am taking my chances, but that is part of the game....finding the limits of what you can do with what you have.

iam kinda jumping off subject but while we are comparing the two, if you were to take the sams car and apply a centrifugal sc and then a turbo at the same psi would the turbo produce faster ETs?

Depends....in the 1/8th mile, S/C probably beats it every time. In the 1/4 turbos tend to dominate as they start hauling like a freight train up top, they just usually are very difficult to 60 ft in the same manner as a blower. Blowers leave HARD and instant!
