When I first looked into these policies for the mustang you had to have a "lockable garage" and the person told me year round. I don't know about this one, but the ones that I looked into were that. It's not an issue for me now though, but I still haven't changed. But I should look into something.

PJ.....I will admit I bended the rules a bit......but I didn't drive the car that much for it to be that big of an issue for me.

I tried getting a policy like this, but the people told me you have to be 25... everywhere i've called. I don't want to put the car in my dads name either, because then there's another owner. I stopped driving it because it's only insured for book value.

I just picked up a 20k stated value policy for my Fox through Condon and Skelly. Only ended up costing me $30 more than my regular policy.

Garage stored annually is their requirement. I went with them, because they are affiliated with the company I have my other vehicles with.

I did talk to Ians guy earlier this year and he is the real deal and seems to be very knowledgeable.

Just an FYI...It is much easier to get a stated value policy on something like a 2003 Cobra than a Fox. You really need to prove to them why your car is worth what you ask for. I sent them pics, over 20k in receipts, copies of my mag coverage etc...

Also all these polices exclude any type of racing. Ians guy does sell policies that protect you when you are on the track and I believe the policies start around $1000 for the year. These policies have to be paid in full and there is no early termination/refunds from what I am told.
