FINALLY!!!!!! For yeas now...I have always worried about something happening to the car thats out of my control.
American Car Collectors has begun to write policies in Mass. The benefit is these policies are Agreed Value. Basically, moving forward you can insure your care for an agreed value and not have to worry about that "What IF" scenario.
this is a collectors type insurance, so the premiums are super low. Granted there is a 7500 annual mileage restriction...but the costs definitly make up for it
For example, my cobra, at an agreed value of $30k will cost $523 for full coverage for the year...the only restriction is I need to keep it under 7500 miles a year ( hahahah won't be an issue).
Info can be found: https://quote.americancollectors.com...oducer=2021498
Here is the agent I go through:http://hwimotorsports.com/ ( make sure you check out the galleries section :) )
I would highly recommend this for any one who currently insures their car with one of the traditional carries.

Did you ask them for a quote for those that only put on "75" miles per year? I bet you could get museum rates ian.....
Great find ian, I will have to check on rates for my shitbox, thanks for the info.
Managed to get a stated value policy when I first put the Stang on the road about 8 years ago. It was a B I T CH to find someone to insure the car with an appraisal. Glad to see it has become easier.
BTW, think you have a typo there...has to be 7500/YR, right? lol
Does a storage unit count as garaging the car?
I need to do this....I drive 300 miles a year and pay way too much. :)

Yeah, I wish one of these companies would put together a plan for those of us who don't have a "full, lockable garage"
Don't they realize that it's not really theft from home that's the worry -- it's collision?

lol yes...i meant 7500 a year.....they also have a 2500 a year policy as well. Joey.....now that I am down to one car I'm forced to drive it wise ass :)
PJ....yes, i signed up the second he told me about the program. Morgan is a huge car guy himself...has a beautiful 68 camaro he did the hot rod power tour. I would highly suggest you giving him a call.
One of the requirements though is a garage.....there are ways around it ( like if you store the car somewhere in the winter )...you'll still get accepted.
