* This film is pure AMERICAN history. Thanks a million for the one who put this on here. The Mustang GT in 83 was considered the fastest production car in America, it was even faster than the Corvette. Commercial like this are the reason why the new Mustang GT in 83 was untouchable. And its also why sales are down now in America. We somewhere lost the imagination when it comes to commercials. This one totally touched me. I was 8 when this GT came out...FREAKING AWESOME..PERIOD

**For all of you people that are like "only 175 horsepower on a GT?!" you are all f'in stupid! It's 1983 for Gods sake! In 1984 the Corvette only had 205hp and 290ft-lb of torque and weighed 3200 pounds. The 83 and 84 Mustang GT had 175hp and 250ft-lb of torque and only weighed 2900 pounds. The Mustang GT was also about 12,000 dollars less and had a slightly quicker 0-60 time.
