Clutch Adjustment Fix or In my Head..???

SmokinStangs - Mustang Forum! The home of the SmokinStangs Laconia - Mustang Rally
Seemed like for the past few months my Fox has been taking longer and longer to build boost.

I also noticed in the last month or so it was harder to get in and out of gear...so I decided it was time to make an adjustment on my firewall clutch adjuster. So about a week or so ago I adjusted the clutch and now it seems like the car is building boost almost immediately and seems to be much quicker than it has been in a while.

Could the clutch have been slipping and that is why it wasnt building boost that quick? or am I just crazy??

Maybee I'm crazy, but my car was slackin a bit till I made an adjustment on my cluch. Now I get into boost almost instantly.

I think you would have noticed if the clutch was slipping no?

I could be way off, but my thinking is when the clutch is out of adjustment less load is being placed on the engine and in turn the boost builds slower?????

The only way less load would be placed on the engine is if the clutch slips...and if the clutch slips, I really think it would be noticeable. With the clutch gripping 100% the load is the same.

I mean you cooed be onto something, but a slipping clutch is something that is pretty noticeable...ESP with increased power.

But if it feels good....go with it :)
