    Tough time with longtubes on 94 GT

    i installed some supposedly MAC longtubes. the headers were a pain to get in and then now there stuck on my shift linkage or fork off the tranny......i thought i was done with my car , and i ended snapping my clutch cable was i pressed down the clutch cuz the headers are stuck..also on my tranny to....dont no what to do???

    Having to much bad luck with this car already

    i have a 94 GT blk, 5 Spd, Parts going in it are.........Trick flow intake upper and lower.....tfs-1 cam, underdrive pulleys, bbk cold air intake, 373, frpptimimg chain set double roller, MAC Long Tube Headers, flow master exhaust,

    looking to get it painted it as well, paints a lil faded

    thx any advice would help to...wat do i do now, there in ryt now and bolted but the clutch linkage is stuck on headders... kinda clueless... a buddy of mine told me to try and bend the headers in a lil so i have some slack,, would heating them do the trick?

    Were they supposed to be for a 94/95? Or some other year?

    the guy i got them from said they were for a 94, that they came off that model gt... so i did a trade for parts with him. im starting to think he lied cuz the tranny shouldnt be on the headers the way they are or the clutch linkage, i wanted to get shorties, biut couldnt find any then.

    Well, I don't know a lot about LTs, but I begin to think maybe you are correct. Probably someone else here knows better than me.

    Sorry to hear about your troubles but do you have any pics? I wouldn't heat the headers up at this point, hate to see you ruin anything. I know this sounds stupid but did you have directions with the headers or did you look online for some. Maybe there is something you're suppose to do on that side, that you didn't do.

    do you have aaa towing or access to a trailer? i also agree with mike, dont heat or bend anything !!!!!!
