New Ford Throttle Cable installed

My throttle situation was much improved, but still not acceptable IMO. The sticking had all but gone away with my throttle body fix, but you Still Almost Needed to be wearing Herman Survivor Boots to stomp on the pedal at cruising speeds as it was still too hard.

After some playing around with the beat up stock cable I decided it was time to try a new one. I could get the part from 5.0resto for $100 plus $15 shipping. I decided to check Reagan Ford in Haverhill (yes Ford still makes them) and with tax I picked it up for $111(that is why I was there Scarecrow..!!)


Fast forward til today and I climbed under the Fox dash-always fun for anyone more than 100lbs and after a few contortionist moves I was able to replace the stock cable.

Took her for a blast before the rain started and WOW wish I did this years ago. Gas pedal is soft and smooth and feels like a normal car...
