A couple years ago I got the chance to go to the outer limits factory in RI and they hooked me up with a ride in this boat. With 5 of us in the boat it got to 122mph. Power is a pair of 1200 hp mercruisers. Imagine how fast it would be with a couple big block fords in it....

Outerlimits have SICK boats..wish I was along for that ride...122!!!

There is a guy on Winni now with a 52 foot Outerlimits GTX--it has an enclosed hull...like a car

He blew by me one day in my Outlaw while we were skipping along in the mid 60s and made the wife and I feel real Slow and Real Small....he had to be in triple digits within seconds...

If you mean the speed limit...I was referring to Last Summer when the SL was in effect and this guy still rocked the speeds...

You might find this hard to believe but I too exceeded the 45mph limit last season....I did so only when conditions warranted/safe to do so...meaning weekday out in the broads with no boats, land etc within 1/4 mile and shockingly everyone survived!!!!!

As soon as I hit that Powerball I plan on a trip to RI to the Outerlimits Factory to pick myself up one...I will keep it in Newburyport at the mouth of the Merrimack so I can hit the Atlantic and cruise in Triple Digits for long hauls....
