The SmokinStangs Laconia Burnout Contest is taking place on Friday 9/7/12 at New England Dragway as part of the SmokinStangs Laconia Drag Night.

Please post in this Thread if you plan on Competing in the Burnout Contest.

FYI..The Winner will receive a Trophy and have a Photo Taken in the Winners Circle at NED.

I am pretty sure I will be at the track for the event but dont plan on participating in this event .. I do have a set original OEM Saleen 18" wheels with some unmatched rubber that came with the car when I bought it that I would be happy to allow somebody to burn off if they like,,.I have replica's on the car currently. The Saleen Wheels are a bit flaked and rashed so I am not worried about too much about lending them out as long as I get the rims back you can pop the tires during the contest if you like :thumbsup: . someday I may have them cleaned up and refinished.


Arrangements in advance will need to be made to get them prior to the Laconia weekend, I wont have room to transport them to or from the track ..

Just thought I would offer them out if someone want to really go for the win !!! if your interested PM me, first come first serve !!

Still got a set of mismatched street rear rubber on 18" 99-04 saleens wheels up for grabs if you want to burn them off Friday night at NED during the SmokinStangs Laconia - 2012 Burnout Contest..

Just pulled them out the other day , added a little air and they are good to go .. Just got to make arrangements, no desire to lug them to Laconia or to the track on Friday day of the event so arrangements need to prior to Friday the 7th,

That's the effect we are looking for!! That's a good looking burnout pic for sure!!:thumbsup:

Burnouts....definitely not for everyone, but they sure do make a statement, and are wildly popular at the big events.
I personally enjoy hearing/listening to a motor pounding away, as tires sear, and smoke starts to mysteriously bellow out from under the tires!!:burnout2:
