Have been working on a friend of mine's 65 restoring the interior. Looks awesome btw!!
Can't help thinking about the Mach 1 though... it's been in storage since Nov, about thirty miles away. I think I am having separation anxiety. It has never been out of my site for so long. It is in a safe place though, but I'm dying to drive it!
Anyone else got this itch? To take a cruise or blast in your stang?

ian had to yell at me Saturday to leave the GT home and take my Jeep. I almost cracked and took it out

oh for sure.......this time of the year it's the worst. We get a few days of nice warm weather and the temptation is there....

but then I look at the road conditions and get slapped back to reality

Yup, i've taken rides over to where my stang is, sat in the seat and banged the shifter around a bit.

Sounds good! Maybe that's what I should do this weekend...

Hell, mine's only 50 feet from my front door -- but until recently I would've had to wade through 4 feet of snow to get to it. So no -- I haven't gone and hugged it since December....

Most people say they don't feel bad for me... I drive an 09 GT for a daily driver,..... but it's not the same. I am so ready for a new car....

Wait for a new Mach 1 to be released. A little Rhode Island bird told me there's some good stuff on the way from Ford!!

Thats why It was easy for me to sell my 03GT in. When you drive it every day, you just get tired of it.

Now that it's gone though, I miss it like hell

I will say driving a mustang once every few weeks does make it WAY more fun. I love that rush when I get on it for the first time in 3-4 weeks and feel the torque through 1st and 2nd

Jim, How about we trade? You can drive my truck for a few weeks and I'll drive the 09?

I don't have that problem. The Mach 1 drives very nicely around corners in the snow!!!! don't worry about the shifter "freezing up", it got a good work out the other day too.

You might need to look into new tires in the spring, just an FYI

Do you make vroom vroom noises too?

I'll go into the garage start it, back it out then pull it back in, LOL. Still doesn't cut it though...

Got the rush of burning some rubber in the driveway, it's amazing how easy the bias ply's spin, much less grip than the fat T/A's. On the down side, it followed every crack in the road. Can't wait for it to be out of the shop....A couple weeks ago I did start it up in the garage and hung out there until I got dizzy. Love the smell of Hi octane in the morning...

I'm dying to get behind the wheel and take for a ride. It's not happening anytime soon though. At least I know Todd is not out driving mine around. Haha
