O.K here's my problem on my Shelby I have Michlin Pilot SX all the way around On the front they are 245x45x17 on the rear 335x35x17 on 2pc bolt together Compomotive Wheels what I dont like about them is the tire it self is the rubber compound is really hard. When you get on the highway they humm real bad .I am wondering if there is anything I can do ? I am thinking of a softer compound tire any suggestions:blink:

I have 245/45/17 all the way around on my 87 GT. I went with BF Goodrich KDW2 Z Reated and there is no humm at at any speed that I have noticed.

My Nitto NT-05s are quiet. I run 255/40/17 on the front and 275/40/17 on the rear.

Those are great tires I might be putting them on my GT, but on an open car I think you will notice some road noise.
They are not known for being the quietest.
